Pomeranian Voivodeship is one of the top rated regions, according to the account of economical and investment attractiveness in Poland. Over 241.7 thousands micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises, which constitute the drive power for the regional economy, and 250 large companies, employing more than 250 employees each, have successfully operated in the region. Despite the economical crisis, the region is undergoing a dynamic development. We observe an increasing number of investments concerning, among others, transport infrastructure and office space.

The significant region's dynamics and great investment potential are unquestionable. There are many incentives waiting for future investors. On the line stands the Investor Assistance Centre - COI (Centrum Obsługi Inwestora), which has been successfully providing comprehensive information services for investors, since its establishment in 2004. Well qualified staff prepares and supplies all essential data concerning investment advantages in the Pomeranian region. Multilingual personnel not only deliver information, but provide direct assistance, throughout the entire investment process. Our (Investor Assistance Centre) main goal and strategic mission is to support regional development which also includes assisting foreign companies which are searching opportunities to invest in our region. What is more, in order to facilitate the making of the most profitable investment decisions, the Investor Information Center has initiated the setting up of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Promotional and Economic Information System. The main tool of the System will be the Analysis of Pomeranian Voivodeship Investment Attractiveness, taking into account priority industries. The aim of the study, prepared by top class specialists, is to determine the directions of Pomeranian region development in the near future. The sector marketing of the region is also going to be prepared, based on the Analysis. The concluding report will be published as soon as in June 2010.
